The motorway is a major road corridor rather than a sightseeing route. Central Bangkok to Pattaya is roughly 145–155 km by road, depending on the addresses. Allow around 2–3 hours as a practical planning range, with extra time during city rush hours, rain, Friday outbound traffic and holidays. A departure from Sukhumvit, Silom or the riverside can take a different amount of time simply to reach the motorway.
Provide the full property name and address, not only a district. A large hotel may have a separate car entrance from its pedestrian lobby, and a condominium may have security or visitor-vehicle procedures. In Sukhumvit, narrow sois and one-way approaches can affect the practical meeting location. In Silom or Sathorn, office entrances and peak commuter traffic matter. Chonburi and Si Racha lie along or near the eastern travel corridor, but a stop still changes the itinerary.
