Who we are and how to contact us
The Thai Limo coordinates private transportation through independent, licensed local operators. LimoFour Inc. is the controller of the information used to manage our website, enquiries and booking coordination. An assigned transport operator may have separate responsibilities for information it needs to provide transportation or meet its legal obligations.
For privacy questions or requests, email info@thethailimo.com. For journey enquiries and booking changes, email booking@thethailimo.com. Please use the subject “Privacy request” when contacting us about your data.
Information we collect
- Contact details: your name, email address and telephone or WhatsApp number.
- Journey details: pickup and destination addresses, travel dates and times, passenger and suitcase counts, preferred vehicle and any additional trip notes you provide.
- Airport information: flight numbers, arrival details and changes you share so that pickup can be planned around your flight.
- Communications: enquiries, booking confirmations, amendments, support messages and relevant correspondence about complaints or refunds.
- Technical information: our website hosting and security services may process your IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, access times and error logs to deliver and protect the website.
The quote form marks the information needed to respond to your enquiry. Without essential contact and journey details, we may be unable to prepare an accurate quotation or arrange your trip. Vehicle preferences and additional notes are optional. You do not need to provide a flight number to request an initial quote.
Only provide information about another passenger if you are authorized to do so. Do not send passport copies, payment-card details or sensitive medical information through the quotation form. If you need accessibility assistance or a child seat, tell us the practical transport requirement without sharing unnecessary personal details.
Why we use your information
- To respond to an enquiry, recommend a suitable vehicle and prepare your flat-rate quotation.
- To confirm and coordinate a booking, provide meeting instructions and communicate travel changes.
- To share necessary journey information with the assigned operator and driver, including flight-aware pickup planning.
- To provide real human, English-speaking support, handle complaints and resolve booking or payment questions.
- To maintain service and financial records, prevent misuse and meet applicable legal obligations.
We use information as necessary to take steps you request before a booking and to perform our booking-coordination service. Other uses may be necessary to meet legal obligations or for legitimate interests such as website security, record keeping and resolving disputes, subject to your rights. Where consent is required, we will request it for the specific purpose. A booking enquiry is not consent to unrelated marketing.
Who receives your information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to marketing companies.
Your assigned independent operator and driver receive the information needed to carry out the journey, such as the lead passenger’s name, contact number, pickup and destination, flight details, passenger and luggage counts, and relevant transport requirements. We do not need to send the driver unrelated enquiry correspondence or payment-card information.
Website hosting, communications, booking-delivery and security providers may process information needed to support those services. Our production website uses Cloudflare hosting; development previews may use Vercel. Resend processes the contact and journey details needed to deliver online enquiries to our booking team. If you choose email or WhatsApp, the provider of that channel also processes information under its own privacy terms. We may share relevant records with professional advisers, insurers, authorities or other parties where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
When address suggestions are enabled, the pickup or destination text you type is sent to Google Places to find matching addresses in Thailand. You can enter an address manually without selecting a suggestion. Google processes these searches under its Privacy Policy and Google Maps Platform Terms.
Our use and disclosure of information is limited to the purposes described here. Where a service provider processes information on our behalf, appropriate data-protection arrangements are required. Independent transport operators remain responsible for their own applicable data-protection duties.
Website forms and payments
Online enquiries use Resend to deliver the contact and journey information you submit to our booking team. A success message appears only after the delivery provider accepts the request. If the form is unavailable or sending fails, contact our booking team directly by email. An enquiry does not confirm a booking.
The current website does not collect credit-card numbers or process online payments. Do not enter card details in trip notes or send them by ordinary email. If a payment is requested for a confirmed booking, the payment recipient, method and applicable provider will be identified before you pay. Any third-party payment provider’s own privacy notice applies to the information it collects.
International processing
Our hosting and communication providers may process information outside your country of residence or outside Thailand. Where applicable data-protection law restricts an international transfer, we must use an appropriate legal basis and required safeguards. Contact us if you need information about the providers or safeguards relevant to your booking.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as needed to respond to you, coordinate travel, manage changes or complaints, and maintain records required for accounting, legal or dispute-resolution purposes. An enquiry that does not become a booking may require less retention than a completed journey with payment or complaint records.
Retention depends on the type of record, whether your enquiry becomes a booking, any unresolved dispute and applicable record-keeping requirements. When information is no longer needed, it should be deleted or anonymized. You can request deletion, but some records may need to be retained to comply with law or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not promise immediate deletion of every record or backup.
Security and your communications
We use HTTPS for website connections and limit the booking information requested through our forms. Access to booking records should be restricted to people and providers who need them for their work. No internet transmission, communication channel or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
When you use email or WhatsApp, check the recipient before sharing information. Those services have their own security features and privacy policies; this policy does not replace them. Let us know promptly if you believe a booking message or request for payment is suspicious.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies and the circumstances, you may have the right to access your personal information, obtain a copy, correct inaccurate information, request deletion or restriction, object to certain uses, and receive or transfer information in a portable form where applicable. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Email info@thethailimo.com to make a request. Describe what you would like us to do and provide enough booking or contact information to locate the relevant record. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing personal information. Do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are necessary and how to provide them safely.
We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If a request cannot be fulfilled in full, we will explain the reason where required. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority, including Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee where applicable. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act or other applicable law.
Policy updates
We may update this policy when our services, technology or legal obligations change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Where a change requires further notice or consent, we will provide it as required. Booking conditions are set out in our Terms of Service.
